Rural development is a comprehensive and multidimensional concept that includes agricultural growth and related activities (handicrafts and rural industries), socio-economic infrastructure, social services and related facilities and most importantly the development of human resources in rural areas. Thus, rural women, according to the role and responsibilities they have in the farm and home environment, are responsible for various production and service tasks, which is certainly very effective in achieving rural development. In the present study, the effects of development on the status and role of women in the rural development process have been studied as a case study in the villages of Kermanshah. The research method is descriptive-analytical and based on survey method. The statistical population consisted of 81345 women in rural areas of Kermanshah city, of which 382 people were selected as a sample and randomly selected using the Krejcie and Morgan sample size determination table. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire whose content validity was reviewed and confirmed by professors and experts. To determine the reliability of the questionnaire, 30 questionnaires were completed by rural women in the pre-test process and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.88. = On average, a questionnaire was obtained for different sections. Two-way analysis of variance and t-test were used to analyze the data. The findings show; Rural development will have a positive effect on increasing access to credit, participation in extension classes, as well as reducing women's participation in livestock and agricultural activities, as well as rural development on women's participation in decision-making, participation in production and Home activities are ineffective.
